Mad Dog Motorcycle Club (MDMC)
A motorcycle club for Harley Davidson and large bore cruisers, the group Mad Dog MC only accepts bikers who are dedicated to “free spirited riding and brotherhood”. You might have seen these fierce looking dudes around town, with their tattoos, Harleys or other large cruising bikes, or in their current meeting place, Big Hits, on the lower end of Don Juico Avenue, Angeles City. However, don’t just turn up and say you want membership. Mad Dogs MC membership is by invitation only and the guys like to get to know people before making the offer.
As well as riding around on big bikes, Mad Dog members also dedicate a lot of their time and effort to raising money for local and national charities. Members regularly turn out to repair damaged houses or property of poorer residents, for example, during 2010 they have installed 15 deep water wells in Barangay Anunas. These wells all have a concrete base, hand pump and a roof, making them likely to stay usable for quite some time and Mad Dogs MC also to the time to ensure that the land is “clear title” - so the wells are not acquired by nearby residents. On 27 November 2010 Mad Dogs MC will hold their premier fund raising event, the 220km Poker Run. For the Poker Run anyone with a motorbike or scooter can join in with turnout last year reaching almost 250 bikes of all sizes and descriptions. The event begins at around 8:00 a.m. at Kabio Horse Stables on Clark and, after a ride to Bataan and Subic, it finishes back at Clark’s Kabio Stables in the late afternoon or early evening. If you want to learn more about the Mad Dog MC, drop in at Big Hits any Tuesday between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Related Articles |

Deserved or not, motorcycle clubs and bikers’ clubs generally receive poor press, but the Philippine Mad Dog Motorcycle Club (MDMC) is somewhat different. Mad Dog Motorcycle Club (Mad Dog MC) Philippines was founded in 1994 and has since grown to be the premier Motorcycle club in Asia. The local chapter commonly seen cruising around Angeles and Subic was set up in October 2006 to provide a community for the growing number of big bike riders in Northern Luzon.
